Nursery Admissions
Fresh admissions to Nursery (Balvatika-I) are conducted each year in line with the Directorate of Education. The 2026–27 process follows DOE Circular No. DE.23(749)/Sch.Br./2025/976 dated 24 October 2025.

Closure of admission process
The Application Process
The route differs by entry point. Nursery follows the Directorate of Education online process, while Classes KG to V are admitted through the school, subject to vacancies.
Nursery (Balvatika-I)
Step 1
Online Registration
For the 2026–27 session, register your child online during the DOE window (04 December to 27 December 2025). Registration is per DOE Circular dated 24 October 2025.
Step 2
Points & Lists
Points are awarded to General Category applicants against the published criteria and displayed on the school website, followed by the selection lists on the notified dates.
Step 3
Confirmation of Admission
Selected families complete document verification and confirm the seat within the window stated against each list, until the admission process closes on 19 March 2026.
Classes KG to V
Step 1
Registration
Apply for Classes KG to V subject to seat availability by completing the registration form and paying the registration fee of ₹25/-.
Step 2
Document Submission
Submit the report card of the last examination, residence proof, the child’s MCD birth certificate, and a medical fitness certificate attested by a certified MBBS doctor.
Step 3
Written Test
Shortlisted applicants appear for a grade-appropriate written test. The decision of the Management in all matters is final.
Documents Required (KG to V)
- Report card / result of the last examination from the previous school
- Residence proof — Voter ID, electricity / water / MTNL bill, passport or Aadhaar card (for rented homes, a copy of the rent agreement)
- Birth certificate of the child — MCD issued, with the name printed
- Medical fitness certificate, attested by a certified MBBS doctor
Originals — including the final report card and a school leaving certificate countersigned by the parent and Education Officer — are required at the time of admission.

Fee Structure
The registration fee for Classes KG to V is a nominal ₹25/-. Nursery registration follows the Directorate of Education process.

Transport
Salwan Junior School provides safe, reliable, air-conditioned bus transport. Students travel accompanied by well-trained escorts and attendants. Five routes cover Naraina Vihar, Inder Puri, Janak Puri, Rajouri Garden, Kirti Nagar / Ramesh Nagar, and Tagore Garden.
